Dawsons of Kent provide premium moving services for private individuals, families and businesses in Kent. Their professionally trained staff and dedicated office team have the knowledge and expertise to meticulously manage moves.

When Dawsons approached Listo their website was outdated and not specifically targeting the audience they desired. Their website was not well presented to mobile and tablet users and their branding was old and consisted of outdated clip art cartoon images.

Listo were therefore brought on to completely re-brand Dawsons, kick start their online marketing campaigns and build a new website from scratch. They requested a sharp, luxury online presence to attract the high-end removals market.

Digital Marketing Strategy

Dawsons came to Listo with the goal of making their brand stand out online from their competitors. They previously had no online marketing strategy, were not efficiently utilizing social media or taking advantage of PPC advertising.

A combination of our experience and knowledge in digital marketing along with our research into their unique industry helped us create a robust plan of action for Dawsons packed with both online and offline ideas. Competitor analysis suggested the publication of captivating content and industry tips was going to be key in building the brand and its reputation. Our strategy involved developing email campaigns and creating a unique personality for Dawsons across the main social platforms, giving them access to their target audience from within their online social hangouts. Our strategy highlighted the importance of Search Engine Optimisation & PPC to ensure Dawsons ranked highly on Google, giving Dawsons the edge over their competitors.

Responsive Mobile Design

More than half of all website views are now coming from users on mobile and tablet devices. This is even more so in the services markets, where people are looking for something from their mobile on the spot.

Dawsons website was not previously responsive or even mobile friendly, which made it incredibly difficult for users to navigate their old site. A key part of the project was to ensure the site was future-proofed with a fluid responsive layout, giving Dawsons the platform they needed to interact with their professional demographic. All of the sites assets were therefore designed to seamlessly present the same experience on mobile and tablet devices of all shapes and sizes as on desktop.
